Lord Provost of Glasgow
The Lord Provost is the first citizen of Glasgow and is the head of Glasgow City Council.  In times gone by the Lord Dean of Guild (second citizen of Glasgow) and the Deacon Convenor (third citizen of Glasgow) were involved in the governance of Glasgow.
