In 1939, the North Parish Washing Green Society printed an excellent booklet called "Living History in Glasgow" which tells the story of the Society as well as giving background information to the timers that it was an active Washing Green Society.   The names of members as at 1938 are given in this great and easy to read booklet.   It is available free for personal use from: Living History of Glasgow
