Members of the Incorporation of Maltmen from 1605 to 1879
The names of the members of the Maltmen from 1605 to 1879 can be found on page 85 of the "Chronicles of the Maltmen Craft". The names members in 1879 can be found on page 114 of the above book and it also shows their craft genealogy.

Long Roll of the Incorporation of Maltmen from 1605 to 1950
In the past, to be enrolled on the Long Roll of the Incorporation of Maltmen the member had to be over the age of 21 and not be in debt to the Incorporation. This meant that Pensioners and those owing money to the Incorporation could not be on the Roll and hence not allowed to vote in Incorporation elections etc.
The Roll below contains a number of abbreviations and their meaning can be found below:
N.H.: Near Hand, is a member whose father or father-in-law was a member.
F.H.: Far Hand, is a member whose father and father-in-law was not a member.
Widow: There is one widow listed in the Roll and she is there because her husband died and she was allowed to carry on his business.
Son: Self explanatory.
S.L.: Son-in-Law was a person who became a member and his father-in-law was a member.
Y.S.: Younger-Son was the younger son of a member.
E.S.: Eldest Son was an elder son of a member.
Y.S.F.L.: Younger Son Father Living was a younger son whose father had not passed away.
E.S.F.L.: Eldest Son Father Living was an eldest son whose father was still alive.
